So, my dad LOVES to fish. He is quite the accomplished Fly-Fisherman and enjoys practicing his technique at their neighborhood pond. He just does this for practice, not really expecting to catch anything. On Saturday night, he caught a gigantic 20lb carp on his fly rod. To catch this amount on a fly-rod is insane. It took him a hour to reel it in and he drew a crowd while struggling with this fish. One young man stood by him the whole time and said he would be glad to "pop" the fish. My dad had no idea what that meant but said he could have the fish once he reeled it in.He later learned what the guy meant by popping the fish...when he noticed that the guy had a gun and was planning on shooting the fish for him:) Oh, South Dallas...I love it! With all that said, that is one BIG fish!

Dude, what a BIG fish! Oh, and did you know ENCHANTED came out on dvd yesterday??????? We got it, and watched it with Granny last night...SO GOOD!!! :)

alex is a huge fly-fisherman, and LOVED seeing this picture!! i also think he was jealous your dad was able to talk to someone that mentioned wanting to 'pop' the fish.
