It's that time again....I can't believe I am doing this to myself again, but Mark, my brother Read, and I are running the Seattle Half-Marathon the Sunday after Thanksgiving.Training starts very very soon. Blog World, I need your help....What are your favorite running tunes?!??! Looking for some sweet beats to inspire my tired feet. I don't run... and I listen to jazz, folk and Broadway musicals... so I don't think I could help you out. Maybe grab the sound tracks from Glee and So You Think You Can Dance. But... knowing you, you already have those.

Beck - "E-Pro", Beck - "Black Tambourine", "Shutterbug" - Big Boi, "She's Long Gone" - Black Keys, "Don't Touch Me (Throw Da Water On Em)" - Busta Rhymes, "Universal Mind Control" - Common, "Harder Better Faster Stronger" - Daft Punk, "Hello, Good Morning" - Diddy/Dirty Money, "Can't Stop Feeling" - Franz Ferdinand, "Hey Mrs. (Glamour Puss Remix)" - I Monster (would be my coming to the plate song if I was a pro baseball player), "Little Bit of Feel Good" - Jamie Lidell, "On to the Next One" - Jay-Z, "Power" - Kanye West, "Quiet Dog" - Mos Def, "Bedstuy Parade and Funeral March" - Mos Def, "Hysteria" - Muse, "PJ & Rooser" - Outkast, "100 Yard Dash" - Raphael Saadiq, "Big Easy" - Raphael Saadiq, "Let's Take a Walk" - Raphael Saadiq, "Whoo! Alright-Yeah...Uh Huh" - The Rapture, "I Need More Love" - Robert Randolph and the Family Band, "Renegade" - Styx, "Burning Heart" - Survivor (from Rocky 4, often overlooked but almost as good as "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky 3), "DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again" - Usher, "Get Your Money" - will.i.am

All clean versions of course. These are mostly all up-tempo. If you need songs of varying speeds, I can add to the list.

"It's a Wonderful Night" by Fat Boy Slim (even has a calorie burning artist title :)), and Janelle Monae's song called "Tightrope"? I think that's the title.
