Junction and Baby Jesus

For the past week, Ryann has wrapped herself up in a blanket and called herself "Baby Jesus". She does this several times a day and wants Mark to hold "Baby Jesus" and refer to her as only "Baby Jesus"....hmmmm


We went down to my parent's property in Junction, Tx Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. Ryann loves to be outside and the weather was perfect. She also had her first s'more, which she enjoyed thoroughly.

Amazing Race

Mark and I are huge dorks and not afraid to admit it. Last week,I heard that The Amazing Race TV show was having an open casting call on May 2 in Grapevine. Mark and I decided to go. We love the show and always say that we want to be on it. SO SAD to see the day before the casting call, that it was cancelled. BOO!!!!!
We still decided to make our audition tape and fill out the super long application. I mailed it in yesterday. We definitely know that there is ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE of us making it, but it was still so fun to apply. Thanks so much to Matt and Angie Wood for helping us edit our tape. It is so incredibly stupid and ridiculous, I can't believe I let them see it, that's true friendship:). If I were a more secure person, I would post it. But,alas, I am not. Just know, that there is a choreographed dance routine:) Knowing that NOTHING will come from this, we had so much fun applying. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Mark is a great husband, he is really is the funniest person I know. I love him.

That man is not my babydaddy

Ryann has been calling any man she sees "daddy" lately....which makes for some awkward situations. Today we were in line at the post office and Ryann was dancing/twirling. She stopped mid-twirl and turned behind me and said to a very nice, African American man..."Come on, Daddy let's dance. C'mon Daddy dance, dance" The man seemed startled at first and then laughed it off saying,"Oh, I dance....but just not in a post office"

Got a 2 year old in da house!!

Ryann turned 2 on April 4. We had a "Tu-Tus for Two" birthday party and it was a blast. It was so fun to celebrate our chunky monkey with our family and friends....I CANNOT believe she is already two!!! Where does time go?!?! Ryann, we love you so much, You are truly a gift from God.


Uncle "Rico" gave Ryann 4 fish...they are all now deceased. RIP Nemos

Happy Easter

I hope you and your families had a very Happy Easter yesterday.We sure did! We enjoyed an awesome church service at our church, followed by lunch at the Lambs and dinner at the Castleberrys. Ryann has since turned two, and the Birthday post is coming soon...I am waiting on a few pictures:)
